Common questions
Do I need to sign up?
No. The App works as soon as you choose your language. If you'd like to keep your jap streaks and progress when you change phones, open Settings → Save your progress and continue with Google or Apple.
I got a new phone. How do I get my progress back?
Install the App and, on the language screen, tap Used Kashiwala before? Restore your progress. Then sign in with the same Google or Apple account you used before.
How do I change the language or text size?
Open the App, tap your profile picture at the top left to open Settings, then choose Language (Hindi, Gujarati or English) or Font Size.
How do I turn notifications on or off?
Go to Settings → Notifications and switch each kind on or off: daily darshan, festivals, reminders. If you get no notifications at all, also check that notifications are allowed for Kashiwala in your phone's settings.
Today's darshan isn't showing.
The temple uploads darshan to its YouTube channel. A new video appears in the App within about 30 minutes of being uploaded. If there's no new video yet, the App shows the most recent one with its date. Videos need an internet connection to play.
Does the App work without internet?
Yes, mostly. The Story of Kashiwala, panchang and your saved progress work offline once they have loaded. Videos need a connection.
How do I share Kashiwala with my family?
Open any chapter of the Story of Kashiwala and tap the share button. The App creates an image card you can send on WhatsApp or post to your Status.
Delete your account
In the App, go to Settings → Delete Account and confirm. Your account is deactivated immediately, and your data is permanently erased within 30 days. If you can't open the App, email hello@attention.sh with the subject "Delete my Kashiwala account" and we'll do it for you. See the Privacy Policy for details.
